A God that Yearns for His People

Hosea 11:1-9

When Israel was a youth I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.
The more they called them, The more they went from them;
They kept sacrificing to the Baals And burning incense to idols.
Yet it is I who taught Ephraim to walk, I took them in My arms…

Our Lord yearns for you and me. He desire a true spiritual relationship with His children, (spiritual in this reference specifically means relationship with God). He is your closest relative, your best friend and most importantly your Savior. Your intimacy with God must be your highest priority.

How does your relationship with God affect what and how you hear from Him? Good question, our relationship with Him greatly affects what we hear and if we are hearing at all. You are the hearer and God is the speaker, you heard Him when He called you out of darkness and into the light. Why then is it so difficult to hear Him…

Is it truly challenging to hear from Him or have you stop seeking Him! Remember before you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you could not hear. It is time to identify with Him again, and know that what happened to Christ at Calvary also happened to you. Gal 2:20.
